Producer and visual artist Tom Cochien's KöSHRiMP project is one of the most interesting acts to rise out from the vaporwave scene in recent years releasing prior albums on Dream Catalogue and Adhesive Sounds.

Although associated with vaporwave, that couldn't be further from the genre as his unique sound is able to transcend the genre taking inspiration from industrial, alternative and IDM music and beautifully blending them together to create something that feels like a whole new genre.

With MACROBiOTOPiA, Cochien focuses on a more natural outlook with a focus on the chaos and serenity of the animal kingdom with tense, noise-filled moments to beautiful, lo-fi ambience that is sure to sound like something you've never heard before.
